The Garden and Hall Cottages are ideally suited for wedding party
guests and can be booked for overnight accommodation.
There are also 4 other cottages, all within the grounds of Cressbrook
Hall. Details and photos of each cottage can be seen in detail below.

Garden Cottage
•Accommodates 4 (+3)
Overlooking the Hall's garden with a fine view of the
hillside beyond. The cottage is an interesting conversion of the original
library and accommodates four people in one double bedroom and one twin
bedroom- bathroom with bath (shower over), hand basin and w.c. Fully
equipped kitchen and large sitting room (open fire), with dining area. |

Adjoining Garden Cottage and sharing the same view,
Hall cottage is an unconventional conversion built on the hillside.
Bathroom, sitting/dining room (open fire) and kitchen are on ground
floor- you go downstairs to bed. Sleeps four in 1 x double and 1 x twin.
Between Garden and Hall Cottages on the lower ground
floor is a connecting corridor with one additional twin bedroom. It
is advisable to check the availability of this room if required.
Both the above properties open onto a large paved conservatory
with under floor heating. The cottages enjoy the background central
heating and are adjacent to the laundry/drying facilities, and games
room available to all guests.

Lower Lodge

An original lodge house at the southern entrance to
the Hall: curiously shaped rooms with views of the Hall grounds and
Water-cum-Jolly Dale. 1x double bedroom and bathroom with shower tub,
hand- basin, w.c. The sitting room has an open fire and views of the
Halls grounds. Overlooking Water-cum-Jolly Dale the dining kitchen has
electric cooker and microwave. A large paved balcony shared with Hidesaway,
overlooking the river, is perfect for barbecues. Private parking.

| Hidesaway •Accommodates 6
Between Lower Lodge and Rubicon Retreat, Hidesaway is perched above
the wood which leads to the River Wye. The spacious sitting room has
panoramic views over the river towards Millers Dale and gives access
to the south facing balcony shared with Lower Lodge. There is level
access from the parking area to an entrance porch, preparations/dining
kitchen and dining room with views over the river at Water-cum Jolly
Dale. Two double en-suite bedrooms plus one family en-suite bedroom.

Rubicon Retreat
•Accommodates 4
Sharing the same spectacular views as Lower Lodge and
Hidesaway, this property has 1 x twin and 1 large double bedroom, bathroom
with bath (shower overhead), w.c. and hand basin. A large open plan,
split level room, overlooking the river in Water-cum-Jolly Dale serves
for food preparation, dining and on a lower level relaxing,watching
T. V. etc.
Lower Lodge, Hidesaway and Rubicon Retreat are ideal
for larger groups. |

A conversion of the original Carriage House in the grounds of the Hall.
Peaceful seclusion in spacious accommodation for 6/7 mainly on the ground
floor. Bedrooms are 1 x double with shower en-suite (sleeping shelf
suitable for a child up to 8 years), 1 x twin + 2 x single rooms. Period
style bathroom., specially equipped shower room / w.c. for wheelchair
users. Large preparation/dining kitchen giving access to courtyard area.
Heating- storage, convector and cabinet heaters. Parking immediately
outside. |

Recently renovated gardeners' buildings, these two connected properties
occupy the original Victorian Gardens site high above Cressbrook Hall.
Top Spot has 2 large double bedrooms and 1 x single en-suite bedroom
and High Spy has 3 double en-suite bedrooms. Both preparation / dining
kitchens are equipped with electric ovens, ceramic hobs, microwave oven,
dishwasher. The floors are Gritstone flags. Overlooking Water-cum-Jolly
Dale with views to Monsal Head, each spacious sitting room/conservatory
has a splendid southerly aspect with double doors to a paved / grassy
area suitable for dining / barbecue or 'catching the rays.' We have
laid reclaimed oak floors in each property and there is under floor
heating throughout. |

Facilities
All visitors share the following amenities:- adjoining
Hall Cottage is a pleasant walled garden suitable for relaxing, picnics,
barbecues. This garden gives access to a play area with swings, trampoline,
football pitch and through the Hall grounds to the river via 'The
Nun's Steps.'
The Conservatory and Orangery adjoining Hall and Garden
cottages can be hired for private meals.
In the basement of Garden Cottage is a games room with
tennis and pool table. This room is open until 6.30 p.m. A laundry
equipped with washing machine, tumble dryer and airing facilities
is also provided.
